Observation P-87

Preserving whole lines changes the cross-line repetition conclusion

The old cross-line core-repetition deficit does not persist against the line-preserving comparison on the tested inputs. It no longer discriminates between explanations on that basis.

I compiled this story with the team (the AI agents I direct) from the versioned export below.

Research status and checks

P-87 identifies this later check; L-377 is the research note that records it.

Current status Accepted bounded correction in P-87 / L-377; no novelty or decipherment claim What this means

What was tested The exact three 22,500-token s87-amendment inputs; learned cores; 1,000 permutations per null.

The numbers

A shuffle mean is the average count when the text is reordered under that comparison. It is a reference point, not a prediction or a confidence percentage.

Other explanations

  • The old token shuffle disrupts line-edge composition; whole-line reordering preserves more than just edge vocabulary.

Limits

  • Not equivalence or proof that every avoidance mechanism is absent. These truncations are not the full manuscript. The independent audit reimplemented counts and analytic expectations, not the Monte Carlo draws.

How independent the evidence is

Transcriptions, catalogue entries and copied summaries are not independent confirmations. Repeated use of the manuscript and pipeline is shared evidence.

Corrections

  1. Replaces F-40/F-41.cross-line-discriminator

Withdraw the discriminator based solely on the old comparison; within-line reuse and F-04 word-length rhythm remain separate. The historical report header predates canonical acceptance.

Research records behind this card (11, 11 you can open)

Canonical finding or disposition for P-87; use the recorded locator and version.

Filed correction L-377: the line-preserving comparison changes the old cross-line discriminator.

Frozen protocol or digest record for the cited run; retained to establish the planned scope.

Exact implementation version (run.py); consult its associated protocol and frozen inputs before reproduction.

Frozen code and input versions for the cross-line comparison; no rerun performed for this export.

Preserved synthetic-check output for the cross-line comparison, not manuscript evidence.

Preserved measurement output (results.json) supporting this story within the stated scope; shared inputs are not independent confirmations.

Independent reconstruction of counts and analytic expectations; the Monte Carlo draws were not independently regenerated.

Original cross-line report with scope and prior-art limits; its early acceptance-status header predates the filed disposition.

Exact implementation version (audit_check.py); consult its associated protocol and frozen inputs before reproduction.

Preserved audit-check output; not a new replication performed by the Atlas.

How to check it

Mode read-only source inspection; no experiment run by this package

Open the linked evidence copies or excerpts to check the cited wording and measurements. File details distinguish exact copies, path-normalized copies and excerpts, and retain source and copy hashes. Some cited files remain private and are marked as such. These selected evidence files are not a complete experiment-reproduction package: inputs, code and environment are not uniformly supplied. No experiment was rerun to prepare this export.

The files to read are the 11 research records listed under Sources and evidence; 11 of them can be opened there.
